As a new member of the Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce, AstraZeneca Switzerland is keen to engage in cross-border collaboration with other partners to shift the limits of science so as to achieve the greatest benefit for patients, healthcare systems and society.
AstraZeneca Switzerland has been a member of the Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce since May 2023 and thus also acts as a representative of the Swiss economy and a stakeholder for the healthcare sector and society.

The transfer of knowledge between interest groups, economic stakeholders, relevant social organisations and partners within the same sectors makes it possible to forge new paths in the healthcare sector and thus to make forward-looking changes.
Driving forward healthcare together
The goal of joining is to improve our understanding of patient characteristics and the treatment pathways and outcomes for various diseases to ultimately achieve the best outcome for patients. «For us, the Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce is an important partner which makes relevant connections with the Swedish and Swiss embassies, Business Sweden and other official organisations that can help healthcare to improve», says Maria Bagge, Business Unit Director CVRM at AstraZeneca Switzerland.
Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce
The Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce (SSCC) came into being on 7 May 2008 with 15 societies supporting the initiative. Today, the SSCC has a membership network of more than 280 companies and individual members accounting for more than 1100 membership contacts and a total network of over 3900 people.
