AstraZeneca is once again involved in a special Christmas campaign this year: in support of children and adults with disabilities and cognitive impairments, employees have fulfilled their personal gift wishes. The children at the Weidmatt Children's Home in Wolhusen and the residents of the Martin Foundation in Erlenbach can look forward to a special surprise this Christmas.
The Christmas tree in the reception area of the AstraZeneca office in Baar is not only festively decorated – it has become a symbol of solidarity in action. This year, it was adorned with numerous stars bearing gift wishes from children with disabilities at the Weidmatt children's home in Wolhusen and from people with cognitive impairments at the Martin Foundation in Erlenbach. All the stars have now been redeemed by employees: numerous gifts lie under the tree, which will be handed over shortly before Christmas and are sure to bring special joy.
