AstraZeneca Switzerland and the Swiss Cancer Institute are jointly launching the "Transform Care Award." The CHF 30,000 award supports innovative projects that sustainably improve oncological and hematological care in Switzerland. The goal is to support solutions that make a tangible difference for patients, strengthen the healthcare system, and drive systemic improvements – from early detection to follow-up care.
Cancer care faces significant challenges that can only be overcome through interdisciplinary collaboration and pioneering approaches. To foster such initiatives, AstraZeneca Switzerland and the Swiss Cancer Institute (SCI) have created the "Transform Care Award." The award is aimed at healthcare professionals, researchers, start-ups, and non-profit organizations who are actively reshaping patient care with their projects.
Targeted Funding for a Tangible Change
The award focuses on initiatives that achieve a sustainable impact, for example, by:
Accelerating early detection and diagnosis
Ensuring guideline-compliant treatment
Creating more seamless care pathways for all involved
Delivering a scalable impact on the entire healthcare system
