Climate change is now a climate crisis. It is impacting human health and the biosphere in increasingly severe ways. We are taking action now because we recognise the strong connection between a healthy planet and healthy people. With health at the heart of our business, we work to foster environments in which all life can thrive - seeking opportunities for environmental stewardship and mitigating climate impacts by managing natural resources and ensuring environmental safety of our products across our operations and value chain. We envision a future where we help restore our planet to health by achieving zero carbon emissions.
Our Environmental protection approach supports the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
In Switzerland, we are committed to environmental protection through various initiatives. For example, we work in an office building that meets the latest standards for sustainable construction and have significantly reduced the CO2 emissions of our company car fleet.
We work in an office building with the latest technology, "Minergie" for sustainable construction, which leads to 80% energy savings and 45-100% CO2 emission reduction.
We support public transport instead of company cars. We are increasingly using "green cars" and offset current emissions through myClimate.
We further reduce waste by reducing plastic bottles to zero.
We separate waste on site and use recycling stations for paper, cardboard, glass and PET on each floor.
