Nous menons des essais cliniques sur différents types de cancer afin de faire progresser la recherche clinique pour, à terme, améliorer les soins et les résultats des patients.

Nous nous engageons fermement en faveur de la recherche clinique locale et des innovations scientifiques

Actuellement, 28 essais utilisant des médicaments AstraZeneca sont menés en Suisse, notamment sur des cancers du poumon, du sein, de l’ovaire, de la tête et du cou et sur des tumeurs solides (au 06/2021).

Essais cliniques parrainés par des organismes extérieurs

En outre, AstraZeneca soutient 12 essais cliniques parrainés par des organismes extérieurs et initiés par des chercheurs (ESR/IIT). Six de ces essais sont menés par le Groupe suisse de recherche clinique sur le cancer (SAKK), trois sont menés au niveau international en association avec la plateforme européenne d’oncologie thoracique (ETOP), un avec l’International Breast Cancer Study Group (IBCSG) et un avec l’International Extranodal Lymphoma Study Group (IELSG). Les investissements significatifs dans ces études locales illustrent notre engagement à soutenir la vaste communauté de la recherche clinique suisse afin de répondre aux besoins médicaux non satisfaits et de faire progresser la recherche clinique en vue d’améliorer les soins et les résultats des patients.
